"Walk on Wednesdays" competition winners

The Junior children recently took part in the Walk on Wednesday (WoW) competition to design a badge.

Walk on Wednesday is scheme designed to encourage children to walk to school. This has benefits for fitness, the environment and congestion in the mornings around school, as cars are used less.

Even if you live too far away from school to walk the whole way, you can still get involved: park the car 5-10 minutes walk away from school (parking should be easier as well!) and walk the rest of the way. Or, get off the bus a stop early!

The three lucky winners received a goody-bag selection including a t-shirt, frisbee, pencil case etc and they were:
